NO FENCING THURSDAY, JULY 2! Due to issues at the westbound tube of the HRBT, northbound traffic on the M&M and on the JRB is, well, 'ugly' is an understatement. Add into that all of the people getting off work for a long weekend and it's even more fun. And you know how it goes, just one disabled vehicle on one of the open routes will send everything from 'ugly' to, well, I'm not supposed to use words like that. So to save what's left of my sanity, I'm cancelling tonight's fencing session. Enjoy your night off, have a fun and safe Fourth, and I'll see you on Monday! Summer location: IWFC practices are being held in Trinity Lutheran School's gym, meeting on our regular Monday/Thursday 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. schedule. See you there! Fencing camps! The Isle of Wight Parks and Rec department is offering fencing camps this summer! These five-day camps are for ages 8-10 and 11-14 and are designed to give one a taste of our sport. Online registration begins on June 8 and ends August 10. Space is limited so don't wait too long! (All registrations must be done through IOWPR.) See the PFC website for info on the Poquoson fencing camps. Poquoson's next set of fencing classes begin on July 12. See the summer Island Tide for details. ![]() Want to be kept in the loop on club news, such as when the next class will be offered?
